Ambassadors

Being a Texas500 ambassador means you are an advocate for the Texas500 mission. You have taken ownership of a certain portion/task of the event to assist with its development and execution, which will immensely contribute to its ultimate success. Commitment to Texas500 Bike/Run event also means you enjoy volunteering and working towards making this world a better place. Also, check out this page for a list of the Texas 500 Founders.

Why did I decide to become a Texas500 Ambassador?
Because I am connected to the cause Texas500 is supporting. Part of the donation will go to heart center children’s hospital which is where I am seen by my cardiologist.

What portion/task of the event am I supporting?
I will spread word to kids in schools. I will be presenting at school and encourage kids to join the event or have their parent support us. I will also be helping with logistics on the day of the bike/run.

Will I bike/run any part of the 7-day route?
I will be biking 25miles.

CHRIS CONDIT

Why did I decide to become a Texas500 Ambassador?

I am honored to be a Texas500 Ambassador to support and encourage the efforts of Adriano and the organization in this remarkable feat of endurance and charity. I became a Texas500 ambassador because of the vital work of fundraising in support of children’s health services and also because I have seen Adriano’s past successes in organizing endurance sports challenges for fundraising. He was instrumental in co-founding an endurance cycling organization during his graduate studies and I had the pleasure of working alongside him in that effort.

What portion/task of the event am I supporting?

As a childhood cancer survivor, I will be donating to St Jude Children’s Hospital to ensure that kids and their families have access to excellent care without the daunting financial burden of the disease. I will spread the news about Texas500 in my social network and ask others to join me in riding, running and donating!

Will I bike/run any part of the 7-day route?

I’m based in Austin so I will ride Adriano into Austin and run with him out of Austin.
